This dreary, cold and rainy February weather has me dreaming of the beach. Warm sunshine, blue waters and a margarita in my hand sounds heavenly right about now. In April, I’m heading down to Mexico for a friend’s bachelorette and I’m counting down the days! Nothing gets me excited for a trip like planning what to pack. Plus, it’s a perfect excuse to pick up some new spring pieces I’ve been eyeing. 

Check out what I’m planning to pack for the beach!

• Warby Parker Ada Sunglasses - The first thing on my packing list is sunglasses! While I typically wear aviator style, I love the look of these. A little retro, a little modern and the tortoiseshell goes with everything.

• Roxy Ladder Stitch Romper - Rompers are so easy and versatile. You can throw it on as a cover up for the beach, or wear it alone for dinner or post beach beers. 

• Large Straw Tote - If we’re being honest, I’m in desperate need of a new beach bag. My current one is looking pretty grungy after a few years of beach and pool use. A great beach bag pulls together your look. I love the braided texture and tassel accent, and the large size is enough to accomodate my towel, magazines, sunscreen, and much more. 

• L*Space Bikini (top and bottom) - I love the color of this bikini! The light blue is so pretty and will look great next to the turquoise water in Mexico. The knotted front adds a sweet touch. Cocobelle Slide Sandals - Slides are perfect for the beach. I need something that I can easily slip on and off and lightweight enough to just toss in my bag. I love the simplicity of the straps and the rose gold color.  

• Supergoop Sunscreen -  You can’t have a list of beach essentials without sunscreen! I love the lightweight formula and sheer coverage. It rubs in easily and doesn’t leave any white streaks. Perfect!

I have my passport ready. Now all I need to do is pack!
